If you haven’t seen these occasional invaders yet…you will!
Let us give you some insight on these creepy looking pests!
Earwigs have nothing to do with your ears -in fact they get their name from nesting in women’s wigs.
Earwigs have no colony, its everyone for themselves -including their offspring! They are approximately ½ inch long and have a pincher for a tail. Earwigs use their tail to burrow through mulch or dirt as they like dark, moist places for shelter. These pests can also be found under rugs outside your front door, in basements or crawlspaces.
Overall, these harmless pests are looking for shelter -not food like other invaders!
